I'm not familiar with phone interviews, but what you might want to use is a compressor . That said, Amadeus is perhaps not the best compressing tool for you, regarding your audio editing skills. The point is that while there is a compressor utility available right inside Amadeus (Effects menu > Audi...

A solid pop-rock album, but the best is side 4 which says "There is no music on this side". Instead you'll get 30 MINUTES of plain vinyl groove!

Re: vinyl to digital
defaults write com.HairerSoft.AmadeusPro HSNoAntialias 1 Martin, thanks a lot. I like much better this way, particularly when zooming in to see the actual curves. However, in the meatime since my original request I have realised that disabling anti-aliasing is not the complete solution. Apparently ...

Re: vinyl quality!
I might be worth it to just buy the remastered version of the album on CD. Watch out, not every "digitally remastered" reissue is necessarily worth it. A FIRST hand experience: Right now I'm producing a couple of beat and jazz reissues/compilations - stuff from the late 60s until the earl...

Re: inserting CD index flags within a song
The way it works is that you should use colors to determine tracks and every marker in a different color is used as an index point. Can you please explain more clearly? Is a particular color assigned to general markers and another one to the index points? (I don't have an urgent need to burn a CD w...

Sure. They don't break tracks apart. ;)GerardBik wrote:Do index points have an advantage over ordinary track breaks?

Re: inserting CD index flags within a song
The only product i know of that reliably does index points and works on a modern Mac OS is one of the more expensive iterations of BIAS Peak Wave Editor does any possible kinds of markers. It will also import Jam disk images. And it exports professional DDP files. While slightly pricier than Amadeu...

MBP's super slim slot loading burners are known to be a bit flaky. I bought a MBP last fall (one of the last with matte display…). And on the 3rd attempt the Apple service provider finally got me a working DVD burner. The service guy confirmed that they are replacing them quite frequently. Initially...

Re: 96K with Amadeus Pro? Use on G3 iBook?
the newer MacBooks & MBP's do also. That's actually true. (MBP 15" Early 2008) (MATTE!!! ;) But then again, at least the analog output on MBP is anything else but "Hi-Fi". You will find many threads on this topic on Apple Discussions. Obviously a hardware design flaw. And obvious...
