well having used Sound Designer II, Pro Tools, Cool Edit Pro, Peak, Audacity and now Amadeus Pro and having worked with some of these apps in film sound, game sound, audio software development and experimental music I can say that AP is a very good take on a serious audio editor. (I still wish Cool ...

color of markers
a friend of mine send me a sound file to edit
it has 50 markers in it
my AP editing window is black with a blue waveform
I want to make all the markers RED instead of black so I can see them better
is there a way to globally change the color of all the markers in a session?

(This was a surprise, as I was expecting a spike at 60 Hz (U.S. electrical system)). the resolution of the Spectrum's time axis is not adjustable - so looking at it in full view you won't be able to mouse over a freq with any accur...

ok good to know for the future! :) I kind of liked having the caller and callee split into a stereo and mono tracks this way you could process/EQ them differently if you wanted to but then you'd have to open them in something other than the current version of Amadeus Pro to get at the various tracks...

Sonogram window
suggestions for the Sonogram window: - respond to the space bar for start/stop (since this window has focus all kbd controls would apply to it and not the main window behind it) - the ability to choose between L, R, stereo or a mono mix view of the sonogram - click in sonogram window to play from th...

LADSPA plugs?
it would be nice to see some support for LADSPA plugs
currently Audacity hosts LADSPA plugs on OS X
and Sonic Visualizer hosts both LADSPA and VAMP plugs also on OS X
