Jonah,

Caps lock and shift function totally independantly. It isn't likely actually having the shift key down, even though it sends the signal to the computer to have uppercase letters.

I downloaded that, and I don't see any difference. The window still popped up when recording and clicking M.

As far as I can tell, it's just "M" but that only works when looking at the already recorded file, or when recording it asks for a name and such and have to click enter before the next marke ...
