Hi Martin,

Yes it does. Multiband denoising garbles the sound a bit, and the clicking, static over voice is still there.

Version 2.0.1. Subject: old interview tapes. Problem: they're somewhat muffled; occasionally a hum. When I try either denoising or taking the hum out by reducing lower frequency with equalizer, I get a crackling, like static. The crackling is even there when I set multiband denoising to flat. I got a message that there was an update. I clicked download, and find that my old serial # doesn't work.

I don't think I need an update (for $60). How do I get my old version back, please.

amplitude scale

Is there an amplitude (vertical) scale I can turn on that might make it easier to compare volume on different recordings? A grid or something? (I am not an expert recordist.)
