using the file save and open for batch files occurred to me afterward but I think it would be less confusing to have some visual feedback like with VST plugins something like: two buttons or a pull down menu in the batch panel: - button/selection#1: load - button/selection#2: save - with the name of...

batch processing

I've been using the batch processor more and more and like it much better than the Peak one but I have a few suggestions: - have a way to load and save presets or settings from the main panel - rename the process with which to change the sample rate and bit depth from 'Sound Quality' to 'SR/Bit Dept...

full screen command-L et al

not sure if I brought this up before but the 'Full Screen - Command L' is greyed out also, on a PB G4 laptop the preview in both VST and AU plugins is playing back random amounts of the file if nothing is selected this behavior doesn't change much if some portion of the file IS selected though this ...

Loops in AP

I've found that making loops in AP to be rather cumbersome and unfriendly perhaps I'm used to Peak but I keep wishing there was a way to do the following: -select an area of a sound file -hit a key combo placing loop markers at the front and end of the selection -hit the space bar -then be able to c...

yes when updating 1.3 to 1.4 the crop function remains broken
the only way to get 'crop' working is by installing 1.4 from a latest and greatest DL

naming presets in VST plugs

I have a EQ VST plug that I use a lot for hpf field recordings so I create a preset for a particular file I'm working on and name it hpf1 I tweak it a little more and save it again since no dialog window came asking if I wanted to replace the old preset I'm not sure if I have overwritten the old one...

crop - command K

I've selected a chunk of audio in the middle of a 24/96 file
and want to 'crop' it
i.e. keep the chunk while deleting the material fore and aft to it
but the crop - command K is grayed out in the pull down menu
and the command K key binding doesn't work
am I doing something wrong?

nice! thanks for the link
too bad it has been retired
also check out Sonic Visualizer for another app
this one can host LADSPA plugs as can Audacity
I hope Amadeus Pro can also host LADSPA in the future

wav header data

- I've mastered 5 pieces of music at 24/96 on OS X using Peak 4.0 (before I started using AP full time) - two files were saved out as wav the other three as aiff's - for no reason just forgot to save them all as wavs - so I converted the aiffs to wavs on OS X using various apps: AP, SoundConverter, ...

downloaded the beta version you linked to
but I don't see where or how to access the higher sampling rates
???
the pull down accessible from the lower left hand corner still only goes to 128k
