I had the same problem. Amadeus Pro worked fine after installing Snow Leopard except when I used my PreSonus Firebox. All of my other audio applications and iTunes played fine through the Firebox, but Amadeus would just bounce and then hang without opening or showing the little run light even though...

I have done more research on the Apple site and sdfalk is correct. It does appear that these effects are bundled into the program and are not available to anything other than Soundtrack Pro and Logic.
