The upgrade came after years of free updates, so for me, having worked with Amadeus Pro for years, getting free updates all the time, the upgrade now was overdue, that is, an upgrade you had to pay for. If you bought you Amadeus Pro very recently, I can understand your irritation, though, and perhap...

1.4.4. problem
I'm afraid that I, too, am seeing bizarre behavior with Audio Units. The files I'm attempting to work with are mono linear .amad 16 bit 44.1 k files that had been converted from 128 kbps 44.1 k .wma files. AUDynamicsProcessor and AUPeak Limiter behave properly in preview, but do not significantly c...

Re: Possible 1.4.4 snag ?
I just updated to 1.4.4 and when I try to split according to markers it gives me this error An exception was raised *** -[NSCFDictionary setObject:forKey:]: mutating method sent to immutable object any help? Opening foriegn multitracks
A positive observation: I was fiddling around with old SoundMaker files on an old external drive, opening the sounds in Amadeus Pro. I didn't realize that the files were saved as multitrack files, but they were - and they opened as such in Amadeus Pro without problems. Fantastic! A good surprise! An...

Re: Looping
That is not viable... I have to be able to loop many tracks with ease, and fast. SoundMaker is perfect for this. I can try any loops out and really fast find out if they're any good. One of the benefits of Soundmaker's way of looping is that you can compose really intricate pieces by just looping ma...

Re: Looping
To my knowledge there's no way to do this; the way Amadeus is designed, there's one playhead position per sound window, universal to all the tracks in it. The closest approximation I've found for situations like that is to open each track in its own window. Of course, this means there's no master p...

Looping
Amadeus pro is often very superior to Soundmaker, but in some instances Soundmaker makes it much easier for you. I want to loop tracks, individually. I want, say, 20 tracks, stacked above each other on screen, to loop, and I want them to loop individually, i.e., they all start out at the same time, ...
