The International version shows the same behavior.

Crashes in 1.4.4
Pro 1.4.4 crashes in many places with a 24-bit/44.1kHz AIFF:
Applying an AU (iZotope Ozone 4)
Setting artwork in metadata
Save As to a new 24-bit/44.1kHz AIFF
I have not tried other audio formats

1.4.2 mp3 export broken
Export of 24-bit AIFF with metadata to MP3 appears to be broken in 1.4.2. 1) Cmd-I to access metadata. Set Sound and Artwork metadata. 2) Save AIFF. 3) Save As MP3. (I tried 128k and 320k with same results.) 4) Close MP3 file. 5) Open MP3 file; MP3 is missing first part for large files, doesn't open...
