Record 2 USB mics on 2 channels

How do I record a podcast with two mics going to separate channels. I have two USB mics that are both showing up in the input list so how do I set a different mic for each channel?

I don't believe I was clear. There is 11 minutes of "nothing", no audio on the timeline at all before my podcast starts. I need to either move the entire podcast to start at 0 or delete the "dead space". Same applies to the end. I saved an MP3 to put on iTunes and it was 55 minut...

Deleting Dead space

I have "dead space" before and after my podcast episode which is 43 minutes long. How do I delete it so the mp3 file is the actual length of the episode instead of 55 minutes with the dead space?
