I thought this was broken as well, but you just have to go to Preferences > Advanced and check "Zoom using scrollwheel" to bring it back.

Do you mean that when you create a new file, it has "Untitled" as the window title without an icon to the left until you save? I think that's fairly typical of programs that let you save to a variety of formats. GraphicConverter works like this too.

It seems to depend on the speed of zooming. When I use my scroll wheel to zoom quickly, it is much more likely to happen.

I started having this problem in Amadeus Pro 2.1.6 when I upgraded the graphics card in my early 2009 Mac Pro from a NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 to a ATI Radeon HD 5870. It's driving me a little crazy!

Thanks, that does it! I guess I was accidentally clicking in there. The frustrating part was I didn't realize it until multiple changes later when I would go to save the file and it would warn me about loss in quality.

Accidental add volume

Since upgrading to Pro 2 (which I love) I often accidentally add volume when I'm click around a waveform. I think it is happening on click and drag and also on cmd-scroll. (I manually apply the interpolate effect a lot, and apparently I'm slow to let up on cmd.) I would love a preference to turn off...

Open recent doesn't work in that build, though.

I just upgraded to 10.6.1 and I'm having an issue where the cursor no longer displays as "R" or "L" when you zoom into a stereo file and try to move it to the top or bottom to select part of a single channel.
