Re: Echo Elimination or Reduction
I use a de-reverb plugin from the RX audio plugin suite from iZotope which works well. The suite is often on sale over the holidays, so you might want to look at investing in it, as it has other useful features.

Re: Will Amadeus Pro move to Universal/Apple Silicon code?
Great news, thanks Martin -- plus another thanks for the reminder about the plug-ins having to be working on an M1 Mac before we can really bring our productions to the M1 fully. Now that the iPads support mice/trackpads -- and the newest Pro runs on an M1 -- it might also be time to look at porting...

Re: How to remove sibilance in a recording?
Yes, you'll need a de-esser to help with that. If you catch it on sale (can be as low as $29!), I personally use Izotope's suite of vocal plugins, which I got SUPER CHEAP over the holidays (like 90 percent off!), but if you're looking for something free and works as an Audio Unit for Mac (and VST fo...

Re: Will Amadeus Pro move to Universal/Apple Silicon code?
Since a native M1 version might take a while, I hope Martin can soon confirm that it will run vis Rosetta 2 on an M1 Mac ...

Recovering from a crash
Occasionally, I will get a crash when a third-party plug-in is trying to load within Amadeus Pro. When this happens, my trash includes a bunch of files with names like "Temp_Amad_00000x.amadeustemp" which cannot be opened by Amadeus Pro, and when imported as raw data are not useful. What a...

Hanging issue with new 2.7 version
Hi Martin and all: I was delighted to see a new version of AP when I checked today, as I've just moved to a new i9 MBP so an updated and improved version was welcome. Sadly, I'm having an issue that the new version seems to hang a few (random number of) seconds into starting my editing work. Loads t...

Re: v2.5.3 (2090) getting "not optimized" warning
Thank you as always. We appear to have some time until the next version of macOS is out, so I'm sure it will all be sorted well before then.Martin Hairer wrote: I am in the process of porting this over to the modern API that works

v2.5.3 (2090) getting "not optimized" warning
Occasionally when I launch my version (which i believe to be the latest) -- 2.5.3, build 2090 -- I get a warning that it will not be supported in the next version of macOS. This seems odd, since it is a 64-bit app (and no, I'm not opening it in "low resolution" mode). I'm posting mainly to...

v2.5.2 gets warning from Mojave about future compatibility
I'm running macOS 10.14.1, and when launching Amadeus Pro I still get the warning from the OS about how this version will not work with future versions of macOS -- presumably because the app is still 32-bit in nature, at a guess. It's not a big deal and the program works fine in dark mode or light -...

Amadeus Pro 2.4.7 license issue
I don't know if this is my fault or not yet, but I noticed that there was an update to Amadeus Pro and so I downloaded the file from the main site and replaced my copy of 2.4.5 with it. Upon launch, my license information was gone. Fortunately, I had retained a copy of my upgrade license received wh...

Edit list history?
I truly hope I'm not covering old ground or have missed a feature, but I'd love it if I could "save" a history of the edits I've done on an audio file and then import that list to be done on another audio file. Sometimes I'm editing a podcast and find that I wish to start all over -- I've ...
