Amadeus Pro inconsistencies with Apple Lossless
Oddly I just tested and regardless of whether I select 32 bit or 16 bit, the files size is identical. Furthermore, the program mediainfo (in MacPorts) reports the bit depth is 32 bits in both cases. Yet another is that when I go to settings, it always defaults to 32 bits. I am wondering if the setti...

Thanks for the clarification on bit depth. It seems that since I am starting with 16bit AIFF or WAV, that is all I need. That said... Martin, please see the rest of the original post. It appears that Amadeus Pro is not always doing what the menus say it is supposed to do. Please comment on those iss...

Apple Lossless Preserved Bit Depth
I cannot find an answer to this: When saving as Apple Lossless, I have the option of 16, 20, 24, or 32 bit preserved depth. My question is this is this bits per channel or total bits? The file size does not seem to be different if I save a file as 16 bit or 32 bit, at least for my 16bit per channel ...

A couple of 2.6 issues
Firstly, this is being used on MacOS 10.13.6, on a 2009/2010 Mac Pro. using SSD drives and 12GB of memory. I thought at first this was a 64 bit issue, as I have recently started to use Amadeus Pro in 64 bit mode. However, the same problems persist in 32 bit mode. I have, and will continue to use Ama...

Thanks, Martin that allows me to' save-as' correctly. Now, if there were a preference to allow that to be the default. Why? Because, for example, when splitting according to markers I still get .aif vs. .aiff... not to mention the default when selecting aiff format. Anyway, not a real big deal, of c...

Save selection as file extension
I can edit and save a file with a .aiff extension but I cannot 'Save Selection As' a file with a .aiff extension... it insists on .aif. Can I override this somehow? Definitely not fatal but very annoying. I bought Pro years ago and am finally using it. This was not a problem with Amadeus II.
