Trouble is back with 10.12.1 Beta!
Everything I wrote in my previous post was true. Last week! However, today, now using the new macOS 10.12.1 beta which Apple published a couple days ago, the trouble is back! Editing a very short (30 seconds) AIFF file, I again got the user interface misbehavior, "Internal Error" warning d...

Looks like Sierra trouble was Apple's fault - all OK now!
I just spent an hour or two editing a 6-hour stereo file with Amadeus Pro Version 2.3 (1680) in Sierra, and had no trobule at all. The only difference between this session and the trouble I had a couple weeks ago is that I've now updated to Apple's "second" GM of macOS 10.12, build 16A323,...

I must correct my previous post to concur with others. Although it seems to be much better than 2.2 which was completely unuseable, Amadeus Pro 2.3 (1680) is still raising exceptions, or more often most controls becoming unresponsive, in Sierra 16A313a. If I figure out how to reproduce I shall post ...

General Method to Process Left and/or Right of Stereo Track
Thank you, Jonah. The choices for a mono track are front, front left, front right, back, back left, back right and center. So I don't think I did what you suggested. But I finally worked out this method for separately processing the left and/or right channel of a stereo track. • Click in the menu: T...

Delay one side of stereo track
How can I delay one side of a stereo track by 40 milliseconds? It seems that Amadeus Pro doesn't like to separately process the left and right of a stereo track. Using a tool in the toolbar, I can convert it to two mono tracks and delay one of them, but I can't find any tool or command to convert th...

Yes, that's why I said you should think about it :D Maybe watch for will-eject notifications and ask user what to do if you've got temp files open on it. Or maybe be more aggressive about closing temporary files. When this happened two days ago, I had closed all open documents in Amadeus Pro hours a...

Re: "Disk cannot be ejected Amadeus Pro using it"
Did you try removing and reinstalling AP? Maybe the binary is not in the right place. It should be placed in the Applications-folder. Thank you, Jan. No, that's not the problem. AP was reinstalled when I updated to AP version 2. It is in /Applications. I'm still leaving this computer running, and i...

"Disk cannot be ejected … Amadeus Pro using it".
Mac OS X 10.8 told me that a disk could not be ejected because Amadeus Pro was using it, even though Amadeus Pro 2.1.3 had no windows open. http://sheepsystems.com/engineering/AmadeusProCantEjectDisk.png I use Jettison to eject disks when I close the lid of my mid 2012 MacBook Air, and that is what ...
