Re: Merging Numerous Tracks & Keeping Same Volume Settings in Amadeus Pro

The playback controller really only affects playback. However, you can achieve the same effect by using the "Change Pitch and Speed" effect with the corresponding settings after you've bounced the document.

Re: Merging Numerous Tracks & Keeping Same Volume Settings in Amadeus Pro

Isn't the "Bounce Document" function in the "Sound" menu what you are looking for?

Re: Export Markers: CUE File vs Marker Window Location

The reason are rounding errors in your calculation: 55 frames are 55/75 = 0.7333333 seconds, or 733.3 milliseconds. Add the offset of 12.9 and you get 746.2 which is the correct answer.

Re: Export Markers: CUE File vs Marker Window Location

Hi, the time format for cue files is MM:SS:FF where FF denotes "frames" (1/75 of a second), see the relevant Wikipedia page. Amadeus does then use the "REM Offset" fields which are officially ignored by the format to add an extra offset in milliseconds.

Re: How to keep envelope showing in panning mode?

That looks like a bug which I cannot reproduce right now. Could you send me a sample file as well as a copy of your preferences file (~/Library/Preferences/com.HairerSoft.AmadeusPro.plist) to martin@hairersoft.com so that I can try to fix this?

Re: Comparison chart question

Hi, what I meant by this is that you can have multiple sound clips on the same timeline that can be shuffled around independently. The screenshot at http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/Screenshot.png shows what I mean.

Re: Moving equalizer presets to new Mac; Better vol / pan numbers

Hi, the presets are located in ~/Library/Preferences/com.HairerSoft.AmadeusPro.plist. Thanks for the suggestion regarding volume / panning, there isn't currently a way to change the font size, short of simply changing the screen resolution in the Displays system prefs...

Re: Insert Silence when doing Batch Processing replaces the whole audio file with silence

You should use the "Set Selection" action first with a duration of 0, which also allows you to indicate whether the silence should be inserted at the start or at the end.

Re: Creating Stereo File????

Hi, "Bounce Document to New File" should do what you want, provided that the "playback" setting (front or back) is the same for all three tracks. Best,

Re: Distortion when I bounce tracks together

Just lower their amplitude before bouncing. You can actually even do that after bouncing without introducing distortion since Amadeus does handle sample values outside the [-1,1] range (but if you don't lower the amplitude below 1 before saving it to disk this will create distortion for the vast maj...

Re: Workflow for recording vinyl?

Yes, you can place markers and then burn the whole file to a CD. It will split tracks according to the markers and use the marker's text to add CD-TEXT info. You can also download a demo version from this website to give it a try...

Re: rendering progess bar

The progress bar will be shown only if the process takes more than a couple of seconds or so. If it doesn't show that probably means that it's already done.
