New problem however.

The new files it creates do not preserve the sample rate when Apple Lossless is selected. The original is 192kHz and the resulting individual tracks after the Split function are all 48kHz.

The sample size doesn't appear to be hurt. Stays as 24-bit. Only the sample rate gets changed from whatever it was (96 or 192kHz, for example) down to 48kHz.
