I've neglected this thread because I didn't have a need to use the Amadeus until now. Still can't hear anything. I know, I know, it must be local configuration. But as I said, the sound for all other programs is working, as was Amadeus before I upgraded to 2.02. Could you post a screenshot with your Sound -> Output selection as well as the "Advanced configuration" window? ...

OSX 10.6.8 on iMac. All other programs play sound normally. The "play" box in track window is checked and the volume slider is cranked up.

Input is line-in/built-in but fiddling with this has no effect.

I've tried .aif and mp3 files. No sound.
