Do I understand right? You want to edit the audio of a video? Just load a video in AP and do what you want. Import was working for years and since a some time AP can edit audio of a video and safe it all together.

As far as I know this isn't possible with AP directly. You can use Soundflower or something like that to create a new internal source from where you can record. But much more easy is using some special tool like "Piezo" from RogueAmoeba. Best -- No trees were harmed in the creation of this...

Hi, i got the same error message. As a quick workaround I used Quicktime to convert the mp3 to m4a which opened without problems in AP afterwards.

Strange. Sorry, I don't have any further idea. I just tried and AP showed the last edited files. I changed the behavior in system settings and the files were gone. Changed it again and AP showed the now opened file correctly.

Yes. In system preferences you can define the number of remembered objects. It's a system wide setting.

Just had a quick look on the site of the developer. True Audio Codec looks good - and it's fully open source. The author promise that en- and decoding is in realtime. So maybe, Martin will give it a try?
