A couple of bugs in 1.4.2

Post by Macoustics »

Now I suppose these are bugs, but I just stumbled upon them, so
I can't tell for sure how long they've been there:

1. When generating a waveform into a document, the duration is wrong for any samplerate other than 44.1 KHz. 300 seconds of 440 Hz: 44.1 KHz: 5 minutes. 48 KHz: 04:35.625. 96 KHz: 02:17.812. Oh, and 6 KHz: 36:45.000. I strongly suggest that the generated number of samples should increase and decrease with the samplerate.

2. Increasing the max frequency for the Real-Time Sonogram from 11025 to 22050 Hz "mutes" the input - there's just "whitespace" inserted until the frequency is brought back down again to 11025 or lower.

3. Edit presets for the Real-Time Sonogram gives exception "NSCFDictionary setObject:forKey: attempt to insert nil value".

(3. makes me believe that 2. is not so much a bug as a "not-implemented-yet-feature".)

That's what I've found so far - other than this it's rockin'.

Version 1.4.3 (joust released should fix 2 and 3). I haven't had time
to fix 1, but this should of course be trivial. Strange, this bug must
have been around literally for years and nobody ever noticed it...
Thanks,

Martin
