Removing vocals from mp3 files

Post by meatball58 »

Would like to make an accompaniment to a vocal soloist. Is there any way to use Amadeus Pro to remove or reduce vocals in an mp3 file? I've been over the net looking for a good way to do this. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated at this point.
Thanks!

Removing vocals from mp3 files

The only possible way is to hope that the vocal is equally in both
channels and the accompanist is not evenly balanced. Invert one channel
and add them. (doubt if it will work, but it might be worth a try).

Check out the Amadeus manual, page 22.

Thanks!, I must apologize. The answer was right in the manual on Page 22 as indicated. Should have looked and seen that before making the post. Again, sorry folks.
