Is there a way to loop a sound?

Post by ssawczyn »

Hi, I have a small sample that I need to have looped. After hitting
paste for what seemed like the hundreth time, I thought there must be
an easier way to do this. Be that as it may, I'm not finding one. Is
there a way I can select something and essentially either paste it X
number of times, or create a file of a specific duration and fill it
with that sound?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Hi Steve

I think you are not referring to playback. That is easy with the checkbox "loop playback".

Pasting lots of loops is quicker if you first paste ten, copy those ten loops and continue pasting this. It's ten times quicker.
Repeat twice and you are pasting a thousand loops with each keystroke.

Ah, that's a perfect idea, I now feel very silly :). Thanks for your
reply, you probably saved the cmd-v keys on my keyboard.
