Skype & USB input record
Im sure theres a really simple answer to this but after searching posts and faq's Im lost.
Very simple skype record setup, want to record the input from skype on one channel and my mic (via a usb interface) on the other, so i can fix up levels / EQ etc on each channel after recording. Im a pretty intelligent guy but must say audio hijack etc leave me cold, very unintuitive software and i really want to keep this simple.
Is there a preference or setting in Amadeus that im missing that will let me do this simple setup all within amadeus?
thanks
jas

application as a possible *input* for another one, so performing this
will always involve a certain amount of hackery... With Amadeus Pro,
the only way is to install some third-party software like Jack http://www.jackosx.com/
that performs this routing. The how-tos section of the manual
explains how to record the output from another program with Amadeus
Pro using Jack. Regards,

If you find Audio Hijack unintuitive, I'm afraid it is going to be very hard to find a simple way to set this up.
One easy setup is to connect your mac's output jack to the input jack and record everything that way. The slight loss of quality is of less concern in telephone conversations. But it won't split the channels. Unless you can get one in the right channel and one in the left.
