That's a difficult one (assuming that it covers some signal that you
want to keep and cannot just delete it). You could try to check which
frequency band it affects (Analyze -> Spectrum) and then use the
Effects -> Denoising -> Suppress Frequency Band function to remove
that band. It won't be perfect, but it may improve things quite a bit.
Regards,

Martin

I will try your suggestion. Yes it does cover music I want to keep and it goes by so fast it's hard to pinpoint. Anyway, thanks for your help.

When it is too fast, just zoom in into the area until you can actualy see the noise. That's the nice thing about a visual sound editor.

These problems are not completely reparable most of the time. It is up to you to choose what you want most: eliminating the disturbance or keeping the music.

Copy the problem area to a new file to experiment. Copies are great for trying out drastic measures.

good luck

Wow helemaal vanuit Nederland! I find the closer I zoom in on it the faster the cursor goes by and it's very frustrating to pinpoint the exact location. I'll try anything to get that squeel out or reduced. Welbedankt.

How long does it last, exactly? Tell us a number of milliseconds. If
it really goes by fast, you might be able to find another section of
the song to paste over and cross-fade.

Hee Stephanie hoeist?

LOL I was not referring to playback, just stop somewhere close to the noise and THEN zoom in to look for it by eye while it is standing perfectly still. You will recognize it easily. If it is loud it is also large.

je bent welkom
