I'm trying to edit an audio file for a Keynote presentation. When I import the audio (m4p) from iTunes, I get flatline. Proper time (7 minutes or so) but no waveform to work with, just silence. This is new. Not sure how to fix it for Tuesday!

Please see

Basically, Apple forbids third-party apps the opening of protected
files, but you can burn them to a CD and then import that. Regards,

Martin

Thanks! Does it have to be a burned cd or can I do this with a flash drive? It being Easter Sunday, I doubt I'll find anything open around here to pick up cds, and I don't have any blanks with me.
