New Amadeus user here. I'm sure this has to be something simple in my settings but not sure exactly what it is. When I record using "Play through" I can only hear myself in the right headphone. I have a PreSonus pre amp which the headphones are connected to. Any help would be greatly apprecited.

Are you recording stereo but only using a mono input?  I'm not familiar with that specific amplifier, but suspect that the "play through" software setting is separate from the issue you are having.

Probably it's a setting on the pre amp.

What happens when you play the file back?  Do you have full spectrum audio?

Hello Jim,

I'm recording in stereo and my output is stereo. How would I know if my files were full spectrum audio (so embarrassed Embarassed ). I do have some unusual settings referring to right front/back and left front/back for my pre amp.....so maybe something there??? I think both right and left were set to the same channel...

Possibly, but I'm really just guessing.

Do you have the same results if you monitor directly out of the computer?

I had a similar problem once. Fortunately, just before I hit Send to post the problem I decided to reverse the headphones and discovered the problem was now in my left ear.

Sorry, I mangled that last post. I meant to convey that my problem was a broken wire in one of my headphones.
