I produce audio books professionally and have always had difficulty finding af good mp3 batch processing program for mac.
On my PC I use Zortam, which works great but I'd really like to use a Mac program instead.
Then I found Amadeus, which allows me to batch tag very easily - only problem is that after tagging the files they are three times as big and thus cannot be published for download. I don't add graphics or any larges files, and when I tag the files in Zortam thay don't change in size.
So what am I doing wrong?? Anyone+
Thanks,
Grete

Why do batch processed mp3 files triple in size when process
What if you set the output format to "Same as original"? This should avoid decoding and reencoding the Mp3 file, which has the advantage that if only tags are changed, then the Mp3 file does not get decoded and reencoded. As a result, it should have the same size as the original file, and it should process extremely fast. It should then also maintain the exact same sound quality. Regards,
