Hi,
I'm trying to do something that I think should be simple, but I may not be using AP correctly.
Use case: I have six sound files on track one. I delete the first file. I want to move the rest of the files up to fill the space. I think I should be able to right click after file 1, select all files in the track to the right, and drag them up.
Use case: I have six sound files on track one. I want to move files 2 - 6 back to make room for a new file. My instinct is to select the files, and drag them back.
Problem: I don't know how to do this (select the files) using AP 2. Am I thinking about it the wrong way?
Thanks,
Doug
Select all in track?

hi akimbo,
it seems peculiar, but the clips behave different in AP than in other software.
What I do in such cases:
I copy the clips that I'm not going to change (or if temporary, as I want them) to another track and bounce them there, so they can be moved/adjusted all together to any direction...
But as I work I don't really need something like this often.
