|
|
I've got a stereo sound, some repetitive music that I want to effect so that it sounds like it's circling the listener's head. All of the forum discussions I've been able to find on this topic are a few years old.
There is an excellent MDA VST effect called "RoundPan" that works well in 32-bit mode, but it causes Amadeus Pro v2 to crash. There is a similar AU effect (also called "RoundPan"), but it cuts the sound, causing tonal loss. I've tried Michael Norris' effects, but I can't get any of them to do what I want.
Anyone have any success with this? Other effects? Ideas?
Thank you!

Quote: | I've read and re-read the manual and I still can't figure out the Save protocol for Amadeus Pro. I open up an mp3 file into AP, and change the pitch then try to Save As, or Save to my desktop with a different name from the original file. The resulting file I click on the Desktop (with the new name) is identical to the original one ie no pitch change. What's up with this?

Anything you do in the playback controller only affects the playback of the file, but not the file itself. (Think of it as the knobs on your Hi-Fi system: you wouldn't want them to affect the record you're playing.) If you wish to physically change the playback speed, you should use the "Change Pitch and Speed" effect in the "Effects" menu. Regards,
Martin
