Listening while ecording

Post by Papadoppulus »

Hi,

when I activate the checkbox for listening while recording in the record window I usually hear my voice with a little delay. That's a bit disturbing. Is there a way to prevent the delay?

Sorry for my lack of words but I hope you'll understand what I mean. I don't know the right terms in an english version of Amadeus Pro.

All the best
Jürgen

I suspect you are using a USB device -- that is life. You go through a
buffer from the USB input to memory and finally from memory back out
(highly oversimplified). There may be an option to decrease the size of
the buffers with the consequent risk of losing data.

Hi Chuck,

Aha, interesting. I don't record in other programs on the Mac. But you might be right.
