no permission to save a file (lion)

Post by chrisabelen »

Hi, when I want to save a wav. file which I for example have edited, I get the message that I have no permission to do so.
I work with Lion, and with Amadeus Pro 2.0.5 (1389) and it doesn't matter in which format I want to saved it, it says, could not be saved. Or the message just mentioned.

Maybe someone has an idea to solve it?

thank you,

chris abelen

no permission to save a file (lion)

The obvious question is: are you really, honestly, 100%, absolutely sure that you actually *do* have permission to write to *exactly* the location that you're trying to save to? What is this location and what does the error message say *exactly*? Regards,

Martin

Hi Martin, this is what the message says when I want to save a midfield audio file: You don’t have permission to save the file “Driewerf Victorie.wav”.

But I checked it with another file and Amadeus is working fine. So the audio file seems to be the problem. I solved it by first importing the “Driewerf Victorie.wav” in iTunes and then import it from the iTunes Media libr. into Amadeus and now everything is working fine.

The file audio was recorded with a Tascam recorder.

thank you for your fast response and I had to try the other file option first before posting.

best wishes, chris abelen
