I recorded a 40-minute session in Amadeus II and stupidly closed my Macbook cover before saving the file. Upon reopening I received an message something like "device disconnected." I was unable to save my file at that point.

Hoping to find a temporary file containing my session, I searched for all files containing "amadeus" and in particular for ".amadeustemp." Nothing showed.

Am I out of luck?

Quote:
It says in the docs that it is in the trash

It will be placed there the next time you open Amadeus II / Pro.
However, rebooting the computer may occasionally cause the
system to delete the temporary files, so it may get lost then. Regards,

Martin

Alas, the file didn't appear in trash after a reboot.

I guess I learned a lesson - don't close the cover before saving - but I'm surprised that would delete the file.
