save VERY large file w/o losing markers?

Post by KateS »

Hi, new user
I'm trying to save a very large file without using markers. I can't break this into multiple files at this point for a variety of reasons.

I want a lossless format so I can work on it later. Saving as CAF or FLAC both say markers will be lost. Is there anything I can do not to have to recreate all my markers?
Amadeus Pro, Mac Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Hi, you can save the file in the native Amadeus Pro format, this allows for arbitrary sizes and will preserve all attributes of the document. Regards,

Sorry, didn't notice you were using Lite rather than Pro... You can use the "Export markers" function to save the markers in a separate file and then use the sound as CAF or FLAC, this can then be imported back into Pro.

Regarding the number of saves, please contact me off-list and I can send you a temporary license which will unlock everything for a period of time. Regards,

Martin
