99 markers all at beginning of newly opened file

Post by JEGG »

Hi-
This has probably been discussed elsewhere, but I couldn't find it.

When I first open a wav file in Amadeus Pro that has no markers, the newly opened file has 99 markers positioned at the beginning of the file - all at 00:00:000. When I remember, I select "Clear All Markers" before beginning work.

If I don't remember, I can delete the 99 markers on the cue file, and then the file numbers resume normally on the cue sheet.

Has anyone else experienced this?

This happens all of the time, but in the distant past, the number of markers may have only been a few, as opposed to 99.

Thanks

Every time I open a wav file in AP, I get no markers -- clean. All I can
say.

Thanks

I'm a bit more interested in hearing from those who may have experienced this, as opposed to those who have not.

But I was not clear with that! Sorry.

I just wonder if it is the source of the .wav file?

Could you send me a link to one of these files? Amadeus certainly shouldn't add markers just out of the blue like that...
Regards,

Martin

Hello Martin-strange behavior indeed.

I'll try to send you a very short file (rather than a link) and the associated cue sheet, though you can generate the cue sheet yourself.

In the next day or two.

Thanks very much for your consideration.
