How to reopen temp files in Amadeus Pro after software crash

Amadeus Pro crashed ( again) and I lost my work. The temp files are in the trash, but when I take them out to reopen them, I get the message that Amadeus Pro can't open a temp file . Is there anything I can do to save my hours of work? I am using a MacBook Air.

message reads:
"The document “Temp_Amad_000075.amadeustemp” could not be opened. Amadeus Pro cannot open files in the “Amadeus Temporary File” format."

Amadeus Pro crashes often enough I am considering using a different software - but I really like and know Amadeus Pro, so hope I can figure this out. Thanks for any help!

Can't address the crashing (but would at least try throwing out the prefs file and restarting).


But as far as opening the temp file, you need to select "Import Raw Data" to open those.

Wow! thanks - also how do I throw out the prefs file? THanks!

From another thread in the user forum, it would be: com.HairerSoft.AmadeusPro.plist in Library/Preferences. 


You should make sure you have your serial number before doing this, as you may have to reenter that afterwards.

In case you haven’t yet, please also update your copy to the latest version first.
