I am having a rather mysterious problem. I have a mac running macos 10.6.8

I use a focusrite scarlett interface.

I set input on mac preferences AND Amadeus preferences to the Scarlett. No problem.

I set output on mac preferences AND Amadeus preferences to the Scarlett so I can listen through the headphones I have plugged into the Scarlett. However, the sound continues to come through the Mac's own speakers. That is the case not matter how many times I reset the output to the Scarlett. This doesn't happen with another audio editor I have: 'Wave Editor'. I like to be able to make it work.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Hi, have you tried trashing the preferences file? This would be the file called com.HairerSoft.AmadeusPro.plist in ~/Library/Preferences. Regards,

Martin
