Saving as MPEG-4 HE AAC V2 16kbps

Post by NigelBHall »

My understanding is that v2 is for low bitrate audio. I'd like to save at 16kbps to get the smallest possible file size but Amadeus Pro shows 20 as the lowest. Doesn't that defeat the purpose?

Am I missing something?

Nigel

What if you convert your file to mono before saving?

Hi Martin,

That works if I save the sound manually, but I'm trying to change 1000+ sounds files as a batch and the minimum bitrate in the batch processor when I select MPEG-4 HE AAC V2 is 20.

Thanks,

Nigel
