Greetings. It appears the Lite version requires the same fix. I am experiencing similar crashes like those described for PRO. Is a patch available for the Lite version? Thanks much.

Pre-Lion, I was able to open multi-channel (4 and 8-channel files) in Amadeus Pro and edit the tracks. Now when I try to open one, it opens as a mono file.

Anyway, I have updated the version at

http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/AmadeusPro.zip

which now seems to work fine on Lion for me...

Hi Martin - this has certainly solved the issue for me - thanks very much for such a swift response.

Cheers

Should work. Could you send me a (short) sample off-list?
Thanks,

By the way, users who purchased Amadeus Pro / Lite via the
Mac App Store will need a license to make the patched version
work. Here is a temporary license that will work for 30 days,
which is hopefully enough time for the new version to make
it into the MAS:

Amadeus Pro:
Name: Lion
License: VX5L3T7Z-X3Q9EF5K-6DDLJQR3

Amadeus Lite:
Name: Lion
License: VX4L327Z-X3Q9EFSK-6ADLKQRM

Enjoy,

Martin

Oops! My mistake! The file actually was a mono file that had a name similar to the multi-channel file. Mea culpa!

Thanks for the update. That solved the crashing upon opening issue. The problem I'm having now is when I click on the horizontal zoom button. My MacBook Pro switches out of AP and into some other program. The gestures seem to work okay though.

I've downloaded the patched version.

It wouldn't save a file with a slash in the title, so I changed the slash to an underscore, which worked, but now it can't open the file again, saying it doesn't seem to have valid data.

Weird, I'll check on that....

What file format was that?

Dear all, I have just updated the two archives. Further bugfixes are:

- Karelia's iMedia browser is broken under Lion, so I have disabled it there.
I will add it back as soon as a working version is available.

- The filename problem is a long-standing bug that was fixed under 10.6.
It looks like Apple undid the fix in Lion (!!), probably because more programs
already had a workaround for the bug and got broken by the fix (like AP did
when 10.6 came out).... I fixed this.

- There was a cosmetic bug which would cause the "L" and "R" cursors to be
misaligned.

Unless someone spots a critical critical bug in the next couple of days, I plan
to release this as version 2.0.3 this weekend. Regards,

Martin

Thx a lot!

I had this annoying problem too and had some urgent files to edit, so I had to use Audacity (hate it! - AP is much better!) Installed this 2.0.3 version which you linked to and made some small tests. So far so good! Thx again - my favorite sound editing program is back on track! :D
