I just got a Sony PCM-M10 recorder. BTW, awesome field recorder.

I went to a concert and pressed the "Marker" button after each song. This shows up in the recorder. I ASS-UMED these would show up in Amadeus so I could instantly cut the tracks (adjusting a few slightly) when I opened the sound file. They don't show up.

Is there a way to make the Sony protocol for markers show up as markers in Amadeus?

What format are the files in? (Do you have a choice?) Could you send me a (small) sample so I can have a look?
Thanks,

Martin

The same is true for .Sd2f (Sound Designer II) files - the old Roxio JAM 6 exports to that format, including track makers and regions.

This is especially useful because it includes the ability to have sound in the pauses.

Peak Lite used to open them with all markers, so you could edit it - but AmadeusPro skips the markers. My workaround ist to open them with the oldest Peak that still works (well, rather less than more...) and then re-save it as .aif for AP.

Do you want a sample file as well?

It will not be a substitute for Peak Like because AP doesn't have regions (instead it turns into ordinary markers), but it would be convenient for splitting files nevertheless).

Martin--

Sorry it took me so long to respond. The files are wav format. How do I send you a file? Respond with PM or email buttons? What size is "small"?

Less than 2MB. If more, please send me a separate email and
I can send you details of an ftp server to upload them. Regards,

Martin

Hi, this was a bug. The version at <http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/AmadeusPro.zip>
should fix it. Regards,

Martin
