See Window -> Playback Controller, I believe that this is pretty much
what you are looking for. Regards,

Martin

Midiw,

You must have missed the back and forth with Martin some months ago. The gentleman refuses to produce a complete user's guide. He, apparently, gets his jollys by "helping" users with their problems via this forum rather than to avoid some user requests in the first place.

Some users come to his defense by noting how cheap the software is and, after all, that he really is "a nice guy".

That comment is rather snarky as well as being uninformed.

A description and a picture of the playback controller (which shows the
sound meters) is on page 18 of the manual.

Gentlemen Gentlemen.

My offhanded comment had no hidden meaning but rather an admission that as my wifey always says that I have a very nasty habit of not reading the manuals only to get my self into trouble.

In my experience with audio editing software this piece of software has come a long way since it first came out. In fact it was for me one of the best in the days of OS 9. On the other hand it still has room for improvement.
