Hello. I'm seriously considering the jump from PC to iMac, but want to be sure I can duplicate the sound-processing functions I'm accustomed to on Sony's SoundForge (v8), and Sony's CD Architect (v5.2), neither available for Mac. Can someone familiar with those Sony programs please comment on whether Amadeus on iMac can provide the same functions, or what might be missed.
Of course I can not yet download and use the demo version of Amadeus. Is there an online list of process and filter functions offered by Amadeus ?
Thanks. / Don

Amadeus vs. SoundForge ??
Hi Don,
Audio Units come included in MacOS X and some more free effects can be
found at the bottom of the Amadeus Pro download page. This should
cover all basic needs; for special needs there are always the
commercial plug-ins.
I am not familiar with Windows software, so I'll let someone else
comment on the differences between SoundForge and Amadeus Pro...
Regards,
Martin
