feature suggestion

Post by philxm »

I'm writing to suggest a feature for Martin to consider adding for a future
version of Amadeus. As helpful as the three grey horizontal guidelines per
channel are for most editing purposes, there are times when they are in the
way, and obscure a delicate area being worked on. Thus, the suggestion is to
include a keyboard shortcut that can toggle those guides on and off.

Or, if there already is such a thing, I hope someone can "guide" me to how
to access it!

Thanks,
--Phil M.

Phil,

By customizing the color / opacity of the elements of Amadeus' sound windows, you can easily hide the horizontal guides or make them more or less subtle. Go to Amadeus Pro > Preferences... > Colors. Under "Sound window colors," select the "Shade" element and try adjusting the opacity. While you're there, take the chance to change the look of your windows with any color scheme you like.

It's not as quick as a keyboard shortcut, but it's pretty quick nonetheless.

In the version at <http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/AmadeusPro.zip>
I added a 'g' shortcut to toggle between different states of the grid
display. Regards,

Martin
