problems with crash

Post by nektar »

hi,me and my buddy made a mix with records of 2.5 hours.
after i wanted to correct one spot in the mix and opened a plugin which made the program to crash.
i know that the data(like 27 parts of 65 mb each) automatically goes to your garbage so i put it in a map on my desktop.
than i did import raw data only now the data sound like one big distortion.
Help please?

Hake sure to select a "header size" of 0. Also make sure that the
"samples format" is "little endian" if you have an Intel computer and
"big endian" if you have a PowerPC computer.

Batch process query

Post by heaton »

Is there, by some miracle, a batch process that will remove the left
track from every file in a folder and then make the remaining track
mono? Thanks. CP

No, but you can convert the files to mono which will merge the two
tracks. Regards,

Martin

Thanks, Martin, but there is a different musical instrument on each
track, and I am trying to get rid of one instrument/track so I can
better hear the other one.

If you double-click on the right track, it will play only that track.

In the spirit of "nothing's impossible with Amadeus," here's one possible solution, exploiting the fact that Amadeus' batch processor permits the use of Audio Units.

1) Download and install the free Audio Unit "Monomaker" from Destroy FX. (It's toward the bottom of the page.) Verify that it's been added to the Audio Units menu.
2) Start a new batch prcessor; add Monomaker as your first Action. In the Monomaker settings window, set input selection to right - right.
3) Then add Convert to Mono to your Actions list. (Located under Sound Quality in the Actions menu.)

Process & enjoy. 8)
