Greetings,

I just upgraded Amadeus II to Amadeus Pro 1.2.1 - Being able to record while other tracks play back is what sealed the deal for me. Congratulations on a great audio-editor!

That being said, I miss the Animated Spectrum from Amaedus II. Any reason why it was dropped in the pro version? Any reason why it can't make a comeback?

Thanks.

One thing you can do is use Jack <http://www.jackosx.com/> to route
the output of Amadeus Pro back into its input. This allows you to use
the "Real-Time spectrum" in pretty much the same way as the "Animated
spectrum" function worked in Amadeus II. Regards,

Martin

Martin,

I too am very surprised to discover that Amadeus Pro is sans the Animated Spectrum feature of Amadeus II.

I wonder if you'd be kind enough to give a step by step procedure of how to set up Jack to accomplish this in Pro. I've expended a great deal of time on this myself, all in vain. Apparently I'm missing something, but I don't think it's anything obvious. Jack doesn't strike me as particularly intuitive. Red text equates with a connection? Seems very counter-intuitive to me.

Any help would be appreciated.
