Garageband

Post by lengold »

I hope you can help me - I am new to this. I am trying out your programme to try to remove hiss from a vocal recording in Garageband.
I have managed to achieve the removal and am very pleased with the result within Amadeus. But how do I get it back into Garageband.
In whatever format I save it, it either will not drag back into GB or will but then looks to be ok but no sound on playback.
I would really love to purchase this programme but how do I get the files to play?????
Thanks
Len

For me it is a long time ago, but I seem to remember that Amadeus does not save at all in demo-mode.
Maybe this is still the case.

It does save in demo mode, it's just that the saving of large files
(more than two minutes) is restricted to a total of 10 saving
operations. I never really looked at GarageBand, but I would have
thought that it reads AIFF files at the very least... Regards,

Martin

Just dragged an mp3 and an AIFF from the Finder into Garagebands window. Both get imported at once, and play perfectly.

Thanks for all your replies - managed to get it working by first flattening the file. Didn't realise I had to.
Have registered now and all OK.
Thanks again.
