Thanks, I will try flattening the movies. These files are coming out a Skype recorder application. I did not realize it was formatting them so strangely.

Try it now. It was a 30MB file and it just finished uploading.
I just tested it and it's up now.

Just opening the .mov file using the open command.
You can get a snippet of the file here. If you open it in QT you will see that it is indeed in stereo. If I open it in Amadeus II or Pro it only imports one track.

I am not able to open a stereo quicktime mov file without losing one of the two channels and ending up with a single mono track and one track of audio completely missing. What am I doing wrong. How can I resolve this. I do not have this problem with WAV or AIF files.
