I did several hundred LPs via Amadeus (II and Pro) for import into iTunes. Since iTunes "native language" is CD, I did the sequential track numbering. I thought I might as well be semi-modern. Besides, I use Doug's AppleScripts for iTunes: http://dougscripts.com/itunes/index.php specifical...

1. "A1" is not a track NUMBER. "A" is a letter. You might
just keep the track number incrementing on side 2. If there
are 6 tracks on side 1, the first side-2 track would be 7.

2. Why not just eliminate the middleman and have Amadeus
save the tracks in MP3/320 format directly?

Brian, Amadeus has been permitting "manual" markers for ages. I do manual all the time because I'm a control freak. Besides, a lot of "classical" stuff has moments of silence that I hardly ever want to break on. Position the cursor in the light gray band above the darker gray ban...
