Change Pitch/Speed failure
Hi, I am having a problem with the Change Pitch & Speed function. An attempt to use it did change the pitch/speed as indicated, but it also deleted a large portion of my file. I was able to revert and so didn't lose anything, but I'm not able to repitch the file at this time without data loss.

Re: Actions Window Favorites?
This reminds me of a question I've been meaning to ask. I frequently use an Izotope RX plugin, which I alternate between two presets. I know I can add the plugin itself to the Actions/Favorites menu, but is it possible to do so with a prescribed setting, or only to bring up the plugin window whereve...

Re: Joining multiple files and related questions
The function Sound > Split According to Markers separates marker-delineated files into new individual files. Upon activating the function, the user must select a format for the new files, from a drop-down menu of possible choices. Alongside the Format menu is a Settings button, where the user select...

markers text
Is there a way to change markers text other than to click on the marker head? The selection sweet-spot there is quite small, and I have a hard time hitting it.

feature request: permanent envelope numbers
A lot of the work I do in Amadeus Pro involves modifying amplitude levels via volume envelopes. As it works now the program shows the numerical value of a current setting while the user is manipulating a particular node, but the number disappears as soon as the node handle is released. Their invisib...

Re: Need help with multitrack and panning
Mono and stereo are different "spaces" entirely. In pre-stereo days, your Gramophone would have a single speaker (horn) -- no panning available. We're fortunate to be able to work with mono and stereo tracks integrated into a single file, but the mono ones are inherently centered in the au...

Re: Need help with multitrack and panning
I suggest converting your mono tracks to stereo. Once in stereo you'll have full control of the panning function.

compensating for pitch deterioration
I'm working with a file digitized from a cassette that had been recorded on a portable machine with a dying battery. Consequently the pitch/speed gradually increases in the playback. I'm wondering if there's a plug-in or other tool that would allow me to compensate for that. I'm not looking to retri...

Re: Merging Numerous Tracks & Keeping Same Volume Settings in Amadeus Pro
I work frequently with files for which I use non-standard speeds in the Playback Controller. Is there a way to account for that when bouncing to a new document?

Re: Merging Numerous Tracks & Keeping Same Volume Settings in Amadeus Pro
Answering my own question: I see I had confused Bounce Track (Tracks menu) with the bounce Martin had actually recommended, Bounce Document (Sound menu). It does indeed look like the ideal solution to Mark's (and my) problem, although I haven't had a chance to listen to the resulting file yet.

For Martin: How does Bounce Track work? I don't find mention of it in the manual, and the function is often greyed out.

Re: Merging Numerous Tracks & Keeping Same Volume Settings in Amadeus Pro
I've had the same problem, and use the same solution as you. However, when recording the multitrack file be sure to diminuate the playback volume, as it's likely to distort otherwise. And then, of course, Normalize the level in the resulting file. All this might take a couple of extra steps than a m...
