Re: question regarding LUFS standard
Just wondering when we who use Amadeus Pro will finally be able to normalize according to LUFS standard. Within Amadeus, probably best done with a plugin from a handful of developers, a search should bring up several. For example, Nugen offers MasterCheck, and you can demo it. I haven't used it, th...

Re: found stereo imageing plug in which I have been looking
Hi Ray-exactly what won't it do that you need?Ray Foret jr wrote:Actually, MSED will not do what I need to do. AOM Stereo Imager is exactly right for what I need and it works so well I’m going to upgrade to a life time license.
I don't ask to challenge you, rather for my own edification.
Thanks!

Hi- There is a free Voxengo plugin called MSED which will do the things you need it to do, which sounds like control of mid and sides in an already existing file. You can mute or otherwise control the center element independently of sides. Of course, it offers the full function of an MS encoder/deco...

Re: Two feature Requests
Also, Mid/side separation which when the mid channel is removed, still perfectly preserves the stereo image in the left and right sides: in other words, the side channel would contain the stereo left and right image. The Mid, of course, as well as the side channel would be equalizable and adjustabl...

Re: Quick question on CD burning, track names etc
I have a very large file which I would like to burn to audio CDs. The file is 11 hours, 42 minutes, so I'll need 10 or 11 CDs. I'm having trouble with a couple of things. 1. CD-TEXT data isn't writing to the CD. iTunes reads the resulting CD as "Audio CD", and while it has my tracks, it d...

Re: Two feature Requests
Agreed, Garth, that would be good to be able to scrub through audio when editing. That way I could do really fine, and more Agreed, this would really step up the game for Amadeus. One of the best implementations of scrubbing was in Peak or Peak LE (loathe worthy organization...). It's a little like...

Keep in mind that these figures are for replay. The reason you adjust your submitted material to those standards (below) is so it won't be modified in unintentional or unacceptable ways on replay. There are various LKFS standards in use. Broadcast is generally from -22-24 LKFS with true peaks of -1 ...

Download the free plugin MSED from Voxengo. This plugin allows decoding, encoding, and inline function, and you can mute center or side content. Since this is a sum and difference operation, the scenario is different for sources that are simply panned right or left vs sources in a stereo image. Howe...

99 markers all at beginning of newly opened file
Hi- This has probably been discussed elsewhere, but I couldn't find it. When I first open a wav file in Amadeus Pro that has no markers, the newly opened file has 99 markers positioned at the beginning of the file - all at 00:00:000. When I remember, I select "Clear All Markers" before beg...

Analogue distortion?
EDIT: I've deleted my previous post here. I downloaded the sample audio, and listened and looked at it. I agree - it doesn't look or sound like digital clipping. Sounds and looks like analogue distortion. Some inputs and outputs mismatched or wrongly switched, grounded, faulty cable, etc.? RF a poss...
