Interesting - I will try both of these these approaches. I need to listen carefully to see if the variation is primarily in amplitude or pitch - I am fairly sure it is both. I seem to have a problem with markers in a file becoming repositioned automatically. I marked various positions in a three minute audio file. I then duplicated the audio to a second pair of tracks.
