Thanks pbuch, at least I know I'm not alone. For the record I was using a 13" Macbook Pro with Mountain Lion. In the end I had to take the pitch change off, the were just enough clicks for listeners to say "what are those clicks"? Shame, it made Santa sound great.

Clicks after pitch change

On recording of an actor playing Santa Claus I dropped the pitch to give Santa a deeper voice. It worked great, but now there are random clicks in the background. Can't seem to isolate them to remove them. Any suggestions, or is it unavoidable?
