Hi Martin,
is there a problem in the new version of Amadeus 2.0.6 with the normalize option “Treat both channels independently”. No change with on or off when the file comes out of a compressed source like aac or mp3.

Quicktime X
Hi Desmond22, Quicktime X is an important part of Snow Leopard. If you need the "old" feature of Quicktime MIDI file import, you have to install Quicktime 7 from the system DVD (Snow Leopard DVD). Only then it can work, since Apple has left out this feature in Quicktime X. Regards from Dude

Hi Desmond22,
your problem is based on the new Quicktime Version X. I think Amadeus 2 use the Quicktime X core.
But when you try Amadeus 1.5.5 and you have Quicktime 7 installed on your Mac (only with Snow Leopard or 10.5.x) then you can import midifiles again.
